The peace of mind you've been looking for,
with the most advanced technology.

Two tools working together — a browser with a built-in filtering engine and a system-level device management tool — for comprehensive protection that's hard to bypass.

Key advantage

Direct filtering, no VPN

Filtering happens directly inside the browser, based on the rules you define — no latency, no battery drain, no traffic routed through an external server.

Control over content types

Choose to block specific file types — images, video, audio, fonts, scripts and files — exactly to your needs.

Global and site-specific rules

Define rules that apply across all sites, alongside dedicated per-site rules that override the global setting.

Protection that's hard to bypass

SafeGuard locks system settings and prevents installation of alternative browsers — so the environment you configured stays intact.

how the filtering really works and why we built it this way.

Learn how SafeSurf works

Two products. One protection suite.

SafeSurf and SafeGuard work together for a comprehensive protection layer over your entire browsing experience.

SafeSurf

Your smart browser

Product 1

SafeSurf

A browser with a built-in filtering engine and a comprehensive database of domains categorized by content. No VPN, no latency. Full control over file types and sites.

  • Surgical media filtering

Block specific file types such as images, video, audio, fonts or scripts — without breaking text readability.

  • URL-level precision

Block an entire domain like youtube.com, but allow an exception for a specific URL — such as a single video — to remain accessible.

  • Smart rules engine

Set global rules for all sites alongside per-site rules that override the global configuration.

  • AI Smart FilterAI

An AI engine built into the SafeSurf browser classifies pages and images in real time by context — catching problematic content that static blocklists miss.

SafeGuard

System-level device management

Product 2

SafeGuard

A companion tool to SafeSurf that uses Android Device Owner privileges. You choose what to enable — which external browsers to block and which apps to block embedded browsers in, monitoring new installations, and locking sensitive system settings — and any change goes through a delay, password, or sponsor.

  • Per-app embedded browser blocking

Detects embedded browsers (WebViews) opening inside third-party apps, and lets you choose which apps to block them in — for example an embedded browser inside a social media app.

  • Real-time install monitoring

Intercepts and immediately blocks new app installs to prevent the settings from being bypassed.

  • Core system locks

Locks the clock and date, global and per-app VPN, hotspot and USB tethering, network reset, Safe Boot, FRP and developer options.

How focus works

Scheduling, not willpower

What sets SafeSurf apart: changing a setting is never instant. Structure that lets the momentary impulse fade — so the decision is yours.

Built on impulse psychology

Want something new? You wait.

Want to bring back content you muted, or change a rule? You can — but the change only takes effect after a delay you set in advance. The wait is the whole point: it lets the momentary impulse fade, so the decision is yours and not your dopamine's.

Truly urgent? Ask a sponsor.

If you genuinely can't wait, SafeSurf can send your request to a sponsor you chose — over WhatsApp — who can approve it on the spot. Real accountability, with a human in the loop instead of a test of willpower.

Every goal — the right tools.

Whether it's protecting the home environment, self-discipline or focusing at work — SafeSurf and SafeGuard fit the need.

Protecting the family environment

Define a stable browsing environment for every device in the home. With SafeGuard the settings are hard to bypass — they stay active over time.

Personal accountability and self-discipline

The delay mechanism and the WhatsApp sponsor are designed exactly for this — every change to the rules requires clear intent and can't be made on impulse.

Focus and productivity

Suspend distracting apps, choose which browsers to block, and shape an allow-list of sites — a focused environment for work or study without adding another time-management app.

And it stays out of your way

Filtering happens inside the browser itself, on the device — not through an external server.

No VPN

The browser filters on its own — no VPN tunnel, no special network permissions.

No latency

Checks run locally, so pages load at full speed.

Battery-friendly

No background process draining the battery all day.

Fully private

Your browsing never passes through any external server.

Frequently asked questions

Answers to the questions we're asked most often.

SafeSurf is the browser itself — a built-in filtering engine that applies your rules to every request inside the browser, with precise control over content types and sites. SafeGuard is a device-level companion that enforces the environment: you choose which browsers to block and which apps to block embedded browsers in, it intercepts new installations, and locks sensitive system settings. Used together, they form protection that holds up over time.

Yes. Alongside self-accountability use, you can enable strict sponsor mode: every request to loosen protection or change a setting — in both SafeSurf and SafeGuard — requires the sponsor's approval, and the same single sponsor backs both apps. With a parent as the sponsor, no block is removed and no setting changes without their approval — which makes SafeSurf and SafeGuard a parental-control solution that's hard to bypass.

Most filters try to block the entire internet — an endless cat-and-mouse game. SafeSurf takes the opposite approach: sites keep working as normal, but by default the content that competes for your attention (images and video) is muted everywhere, and you decide where to bring it back. Rather than relying on willpower, the delay and optional sponsor turn each in-the-moment urge into a deliberate decision.

Changes to your rules or settings — removing a block, adjusting a category — don't take effect immediately. They're held for a delay you define in advance, giving an impulse time to pass before the decision stands. When a change is genuinely urgent, a sponsor you've nominated can approve it on the spot via WhatsApp.

SafeSurf and SafeGuard run on Android devices only. There is currently no version for iOS, Windows or Mac — the setup step runs from a Windows or Mac computer, or directly from the phone on Android 11+ (no computer needed), but the apps themselves are installed on an Android device.

For the protection to be hermetic, SafeGuard is installed at Android's Device Owner level — the deepest, hardest-to-bypass layer the system offers. It can only be enabled there through a one-time setup: over USB from a computer (Windows or Mac), or on Android 11 and newer — straight from the phone, no computer and no cable, via wireless debugging. Our installer downloads the required tools automatically, so no prior technical knowledge is needed, and once it's done everything runs on the device on its own.
